We have birds banded by who we feel are some of the top breeders in the country. We are very proud of the birds and pedigrees we have to work with and look forward to producing some lovely babies. We are breeding towards the visual standard for the cockatiel for the National Cockatiel Society. We believe a good bird can never be a bad color, however, we do hope to include some interesting mutations including Emerald and Pastelface as well as the more common, but equally beautiful normals, pearls, pieds in grey and whiteface.
We pull our babies at approximately 2-3 weeks of age for handfeeding. They are raised around dogs,children and other cockatiels. They are fed a variety of foods. We do not force wean our chicks, we allow them to decide when they are no longer interested in being fed. We allow our chicks to fledge fully, learn to have controlled and purposeful flight before trimming wings.

L'Avian parakeet and cockatiel seed
Birdie bread...we make our own
Fresh greens: mustard, turnip, kale, collard
Thawed frozen veggies: corn, carrots, peas, lima beans, green beans
Fresh veggies: sweet potatoes, zucchini, yellow squash, carrots
